In Richmond Secondary Schools

  • Membership dues fund five scholarships annually to graduating women from Richmond secondary schools
  • Club members present the scholarships to the recipients at their graduation ceremonies
  • Recipients are selected by their schools based on marks, community service, and need.
  • The scholarships are rotated among the secondary schools to ensure all graduating students have access.

Kwantlen Polytechnic University

  • CFUW Richmond has funded a $40,000 endowment with Kwantlen Polytechnic University Foundation.
  • The interest earned on the endowment is awarded annually by the KPU Foundation as a scholarship to women who have graduated from a Richmond secondary school.
  • Economic need is a factor in awarding the scholarship.

Nationally

  • Each year CFUW Clubs across Canada award $1 million in scholarships to women.
  • Through the CFUW Charitable Trust, we fund post-graduate programs for deserving women.
